When it comes to bags, for the Spring/ Summer 2015 collection, Berlutti are looking to the ancient Japanese art of Origami.

Luxury French brand Berlutti are known for their unique, opulent handmade designs and for Spring/Summer 2015, that's certainly no exception.

Calling on their reputation for, and expertise of the most innovative manufacturing techniques, they have translated this niche to form some of the most interesting bags for the season, based on the ancient Japanese practise of origami.

Instead of the more standard cutting technique, folds are used to create completely new feels, designs and looks. Using calfskin, famed for its malleable nature, the bags have a supple, soft almost velvet like feel with the lightweight leather lending itself to sharp and sleek shapes and folds.

But the clever design doesn't stop there with the Origami bag boasting detachable straps making it ideal to be worn as a standard backpack, or a tote perfect for evening.
