With International Women's Day just around the corner, luxury giants, net-a-porter, have unveiled the perfect, and most fashionable, way to get involved.

Started in 1977, International Women's Day is a celebration of women's social, economic and political achivements. Celebrated on 8 March each year, it's a day for us all to come together and celebrate all that we do as women.

Helping us celebrate in true, and fabulous fashion, is of course, net-a-porter. Having teamed up with the likes of Anya Hindmarch, Tamara Mellon and Jennifer Meyer, these peices have been specially designed to symbolize empowerment. So just what are we talking about? Well, there's a gorgeous gold 'COURAGE' bracelet from cult jewellery maker Jennifer Meyer, a cute 'Femme' clutch from it-bag designer Edie Parker and an always useful 'Lucky be a Lady' notebook from heritage brand, Smytheson.

But net-a-porter aren't stopping at gorgeous, limited-edition pieces. They have, with the help of designers including Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham, created a social media campaign, designed to get us celebrating all things womanly. First of all, they are inviting people get snapping with the 'Do the W for Women' pose by raising your arms above your head and making the W shape. But if you're more into the inspirational side of things, you can get on board with the #empoweredby hashtag. To get involved, simply instagram your message to net-a-porter, describing who you are insipired by, with the hashtag #empoweredby.

Fun, fashion and female-friendly - what more could you ask for?
