For Fall-Winter 2014 Mary Katrantzou has created three new Italian leather bags, her first full line of luxury bags.

The MVK, Marinela, and Toolbocca models feature geometric shapes and details taken from the Fall-Winter 2014 ready-to-wear collection shown at London Fashion Week in February. The bags will be available from July.

"The Autumn Winter collection was a shift in direction for me, focusing on the idea of symbolism. It showed an evolution in my work and felt like the right time to introduce our first bag range," said Katrantzou. "The focus of the brand has always been on turning filtered beauty into applied design and design into function."

The MVK gets its name from the designer's parents' initials, with a shape inspired by vintage camera bags, and comes in two sizes. The tiki man and Clocktopia references on the dresses appear on the large Marinela cabas bags, and the tool-bag-inspired Toolbocca bags come with a cool reversible feature and sport a plethora of utility pockets.

The designer has also collaborated with Gianvito Rossi on a range of moccasin-inspired slipper shoes with contrasting textures and graphical metallic embellishments. Katrantzou has previously worked with French accessories brand Longchamp on a line of print bags.
