It might only be the start of Summer, but Chanel is looking ahead to Winter, quite literally, with their latest eyewear collection.

When you have a brand as famous, and as iconic, as Chanel, you don't really need to re-invent the wheel time after time. Which could be one reason why, for Winter 2015, the famed French fashion house have played on three of their trademarks for their glasses collection. Taking quilting, tweed and the chain, they have put together what a stunningly simple, oh-so-covetable collection.

Taking tweed first and this iconic effect will, for this collection, be solely found on the sunglasses. Available in a range of shades, all muted, ranging from blue, dark violet to grey, the tweed effect is weaved through the frames, which range in shape from butterfly to rectangular. Next up, it's the chain and for this collection, its the chain from the iconic 2.55 bag that finds itself being weaved through the glasses and sunglasses. In hues from raspberry, olive or even black, each pair is adorned with the chain effect in either trademark silver or gold. Last, but certainly not least, comes the quilt and for this line, it's all about the frosting. Glacier blues, sea greens and candyfloss pinks in a range of shapes from square, ovals to cat eyes bring the 60s meet futuristic collection together beautifully.

And finally, some more good news. While this might be Chanel's Winter collection, all pieces are available now.
