Department store Harrods has joined forces with British brand Burberry to launch a set of holiday initiatives and an exclusive capsule collection ahead of the Christmas season.
Harrods has joined forces with British brand Burberry to launch a set of holiday initiatives and an exclusive capsule collection ahead of the Christmas season. The festive activities, called A Very British Fairy Tale, are due to kick off in November 2016. It’ll include a holiday-themed winter window instalment at the Harrods Brompton store which follows two children on an imaginative journey through the English countryside.
Additionally, the store will stock an exclusive capsule collection by Burberry comprising ready-to-wear, accessories and gifts. The brand will also mount craftsmanship and personalisation stations at the store, which will allow shoppers to have their Burberry purchases monogrammed by an artisan.
The tie-up is part of a wider major new strategic plan by Burberry, which aims to further fine-tune its merchandise offer and strengthen existing relationships with wholesale partners, WWD reported.
