Riccardo Tisci heads the French atelier’s spring/summer 2015 collection with a touch of the glamour and power that defined the seventies era.

Some picks from Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2015 collection

Givenchy’s latest womenswear collection, presented by Creative Director Riccardo Tisci, pays homage to the designer’s roots and the vibrant spirit of the seventies. The collection channels the aura of the 70s femme fatale – one full of charm, allure, and confidence.

High boots, lace dresses, and leather high waist trousers – these key items were all shown on the runway. The Tyrolien shape was juxtaposed by the pinball in prints and a chic attitude. Tisci breathes new life into the Givenchy wardrobe with a modern silhouette, accentuated by a monochrome print. The mixed materials, namely eyelet on lace, printed chiffon, iron nail and semi-precious stones, were the highlight of the couture that had an underlying rock-and-roll attitude.
