Playing with textures and reimagining the signatures that defined the Italian house, creative director Massimiliano Giornetti presents Ferragamo's spring/summer 2015 collection.

Some picks from Ferragamo's Spring/Summer 2015 collection

Salvatore Ferragamo’s spring and summer 2015 collection takes its cues from the facets and trademarks of the brand that drew them accolades within the fashion industry. Creative director Massimiliano Giornetti mixes textures to create original pieces while highlighting the allure of 3D surfaces in his impeccable tailoring.

This season’s silhouette is one filled to the brim with elegance – from the nearly invisible waistline to the meticulous lines following the shape of the body. Knitted dresses accentuate curves in the form of a nipped rib while tops and skirts are expertly crafted with sculptured details. Colour effects of murano glass are also utilized as jacquard prints on overcoats, and colours of reptiles and animal print motifs are incorporated with geometric patterns in a fearless fusion.
