The Paris-based Lebanese luxury designer has revealed a new line of bags

The Poincaré collection by Elie Saab

Paris-based Lebanese luxury designer Elie Saab has unveiled the Poincaré collection of handbags and purses.

The five bags are part of a new effort to develop the full range of the couturier's lines.

Named after the brand's home on the Avenue Raymond Poincaré in the 16th arrondissement of the City of Light, the pieces feature strict structures and geometric shapes in burnished metal and plush leather.

Alongside the handbags with necklace-like chains, there is also a new clutch bag design which features a hinged metal design running around the edge, which can also be employed as a handle.

The bags come in a range of purple-red, forest green and deep black colorways and the collection will hit stores in mid-July with the rest of the Fall-Winter 2014 line.
