To commemorate Raf Simons' first haute couture collection in 2012, Dior have released a stunning behind the scenes film, offering a never before chance to see the inner workings of the fashion house.

When Raf Simons first took over the helm of Dior back in 2012, he had just eight weeks to complete his debut haute couture collection. Pretty scary stuff especially when taking over a brand as renowned as Dior.

To commemorate this special, and no-doubt stressful, couple of weeks, Dior have released a feature-length documentary, offering fashion fans a never before seen behind the scenes look at one of the world's most famous fashion houses. The film carries you from the designers inspiration boards along the way to the legendary atelier.

One of the fashion houses where the ateliers are still found in-house, the stunning film also follows Florence Chehet and Monique Baily from the atelier taileur to show the importance the atelier has on the haute couture collection.

Speaking of his first collection and enormous new role, Raf Simons said: "I find it quite challenging to work with a legacy that is so giganitc and so sublime" and speaking of researching the history of the fashion house for his new role he adds, "I had to stop reading, I thought I had better not continue reading until the first show is done, it was too weird."
