The world famous soccer player has revealed his latest project: unveiled on his Facebook page, which boasts over 92 million likes, the 29-year-old footballer has let slip the first details on a line of premium shoes under his CR7 brand. 

Available from February, the CR7 Footwear collection is made in the athlete's native Portugal, with details including metallic plates screwed into the heels of the formal loafers, embossed Cristiano Ronaldo logos on leather, and rubber CR7 motifs on sneaker soles. 

It's part of the athlete's wider lifestyle offering which also includes a CR7 Underwear line co-designed with Richard Chai, a Cristiano Ronaldo e-magazine, and a number of official Ronaldo apps. Ronaldo is also one of the faces of sportswear brand Nike and a spokesperson for watchmaker Tag Heuer.
