Style editor Dana Koh heads to New York for a fashion party and exclusive preview of the Altuzarra For Target collection

Gone are the days when fast fashion collaborations and the concept of high-low dressing were frowned upon in luxury circles. Today, luxury brands are increasingly supportive of and embarking on such strategic alliances to reach new consumer groups and build brand awareness at a rapid, but no less fashionable, pace.

The latest addition to the collaboration scene is luxury womenswear designer, Joseph Altuzarra (pictured above), who together with high street retailer, Target is launching a limited edition collection of about 50 pieces fashioned for the the urban power woman.

Executing that high-low, casual-luxe ensemble has never been more effortless with python print tailored separates, breezy wrap and embellished maxi dresses, and a truly covetable red velvet suit. Sleek outwear and accessories are part of the selection too, including a trench coat in black jacquard, statement croc effect belts and over-the-knee boots.

The collection launches tomorrow at Net-A-Porter.com. Read the full story in the November issue of Singapore Tatler.
