The recent Chanel Métiers d’Art show wasn't just about the clothes, as the luxury fashion house have revealed some seriously covetable accessories from the stunning collection.

When a fashion show is staged not once, but twice, and when you have the likes of Chanel muse, Vanessa Paradis, Beyonce and Pharrell nestled fabulously in the front row, you know you are in for something special. And this is exactly what the Chanel Métiers d’Art collection is. First shown in Salzburg, Austria, this pre-winter collection was brought to New York just days ago for round two of what could arguably be one of the house's finest shows.

More of a performance than a fashion show, something Chanel are becoming increasingly famed for, the extravagant, stunning collection had all the drama and wow-factor you would imagine, as Karl Lagerfeld brought his whimsically historical, yet ultimately modern and covetable collection down the runway.

With a clear historical, Rococo inspired feel, when it comes to accessories, think pearl chokers, Chanel logo embellished gloves and beautifully big and bold brooches. In terms of footwear, ankle boots and loafers took centre stage - purhaps to off set the more layered and whimsical dresses and for bags, think embellished beauties, be it with pattern or even fabric, with this season seeing the new update of the Boy Bag - now featuring a top handle as well as shoulder strap. Beautiful.
