Queen of cool, Phoebo Philo ensured Celine is at the top of every chic woman's wish list with a stunning Summer collection.

The master of effortless chic, Phoebo Philo made sure that Celine jumped straight to the top of every woman's wish list with her effortlessly cool, luxuriously classic collection for Summer 2015.

As look after look of pure fashion poetry drifted down the runway, it became clear that the collection was for real women. Not real women in the way the 80s saw them, but real women of now - practical clothing for women who want to look sexy, without having to doll themselves up, or everyday clothes that effortlessly lets the cuts and detail do the talking.

With the same clever and precise focus that Philo has shown to previous collections, her minimalistic aesthetic was given a whole new dimension thanks to clever embellishments and detailing. While tops were shown with scoops out at the back, fringes were added to dresses to give a feeling of soft movement as you walk and skirts seemed to gracefully unravel at the hem.

Making a departure from her more plain canvas of previous season, floral made a welcome debut for Summer. Styled to clash and compare, they were found on everything from the midi dress to silk shirts.

Moving onto accessories, something the fashion house has become well known for and flat shoes reigned supreme. While there were a variety of open toe, cross leather heel sandals, the soft and supple flat in a variety of patterns and even prints and the espadrille reigned supreme as the footwear of choice. Bags were shown in a variety of materials this season too with a range of stunning croc and goatskin totes with, of course, the classics getting a welcome tweak for the new season.
