Always at the forefront

If you ever want to know what the next big thing is, in fashion, style or even film, you only need to look at Burberry. Taking place at 121 Regent Street, the Burberry flagship store on Monday, The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA), held a star-studded event to announce the top 18 newcomers in the world of film, television and games industries, in partnership with, of course, Burberry.

Hosted by BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James with presenters including actors and past campaign faces Douglas Booth and Sam Clafiin, the BAFTA Breakthrough Brits award winners were chosen by a jury of industry experts, chosen for their exisiting contribution and promise for future roles.

Speaking of the awards, Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer said: "This partnership marks the start of some incredibly exciting journeys for 18 talented people. At Burberry we believe passionately in discovering and championing the next generation of British creative talent so it really is a great honour to be supporting the BAFTA Breakthrough Brits for a second year."

Among the winners were Jonathan Asser, a writer, Katie Leung, an actress, Reece Millidge, a game developer and A J Riach, a producer.
