Muted and marvellous sums up Bottega Veneta's Pre-Winter 2015 Collection.

In the fashion world, if you want to know what you can look forward to next season, all you now need to do is simply look at the brand's pre-season collections. Well, in a collection of seriously sumptious looks, Bottega Veneta put forward a marvellously muted, elegantly feminine feel.

With Head Designer, Tomas Maier, taking his inspiration from those luxuriously long, seasonally supberb, European Autumn days, there was certainly no shortage of pattern, print or colour, but with the thoughts of crisp, brisk days, colours were elegantly muted - think subdued buttery yellows, creamy pinks and faded greens. When it comes to patterns, the collection saw, once again, a return to the psychedelic prints of the 70s, but in a more elegantly muted form for the season.

While fashion's latest favour for matching saw a welcome return in the form of trouser and skirt suits in a variety of fabrics and patterns, the 70s trend continued with a range of patterns and prints swathing the elegantly feminine below the knee skirts, wrap dresses and oh-so Autumn, cardigans.

Of course, while in Singapore there is no need for such pieces, the sterling range of cashmere, wool and sheepskin coats ranging from duffle to sheepskin, demand a mention, if not only for their sheer desirability.
