Bottega Veneta is the latest fashion house to venture into the realm of personalisation, with the launch of a bespoke service allowing shoppers to adorn the latest accessories collection with their initials.

Available through the brand’s e-commerce stores, the service has its own dedicated microsite, www.bottegavenetainitials.com, where customers can create their personalised piece.

Women can select from a range of small leather goods, shoppers, wallets, cases, and a belt. For men, items include a tote, a cross-body bag, two wallets, and a belt. Once the product has been selected, a choice of four leather colors are available, while there are eight shades of lettering to choose from.

Following in the footsteps of labels such as Louis Vuitton, Bottega Veneta will also launch the service for its luggage in July.

Other major fashion houses to have embraced the consumer demand for personalised fashion include Goyard and Prada, which offer everything from customised sunglasses to biker boots. Meanwhile, visitors to the Burberry Bespoke site can create their own take on the British label’s iconic trench coat, changing details including color and length.
