French luxury fashion house Chanel has released the first photographs of its new Chanel Boy bags campaign starring punk rock it-model Alice Dellal.

Shot in black and white by German fashion designer, artist and photographer Karl Lagerfeld, the latest campaign features the British model striking a series of suggestive poses while riding a beautiful white horse.

Very much in-demand by the biggest names in fashion from Calvin Klein to Vivienne Westwood, Dellal represents Chanel along with Blake Lively and Tilda Swinton, as well as Gisele Bündchen for its new Les Beiges makeup line.

The Chanel Boy collection is available in different materials including calfskin and lambskin.

Meanwhile, from May 5 through June 5, an exhibition called  "N°5 Culture Chanel" at Paris's Palais de Tokyo will look at the history and well-kept secrets of the fashion house's legendary perfume.

After sharing two videos online in 2012 – one on the birth of Chanel No. 5 and another on its links with Marilyn Monroe – Chanel is now organising a temporary exhibition on the history of the perfume, created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1921.

"N°5 Culture Chanel," conceived by Jean-Louis Froment, emphasises the links between the legendary fragrance and its time.

Light will also be shed on Gabrielle Chanel's various waves of inspiration that led to the creation of Chanel No. 5, in particular through works of art, photographs and archive films.
