Inspired by the rugged English coastline and created for the brand by perfumer Christine Nagel, the Wood Sage & Sea Salt scent features top notes of ambrette seeds, an unusual heart of sea salt and a sage drydown. 

Nagel was inspired to create this scent after a visit to the English seaside in 2012. She then created 20 accords before whittling them down to the mineral notes of the final Wood Sage & Sea Salt fragrance, which is designed to work for both men and women. 

"For me this fragrance is different. The sea air mixes with salty spray and the mineral texture of sand and rock," explains Nagel. "Like the scent of driftwood, it has a natural and fresh sophistication."

The Cologne will come in 30ml and 100ml bottles. The rest of the line includes a hand wash, body wash, and body cream. For those who wish to bring the sea into their home, fragranced candles will be available too. The line is set to launch next month at Jo Malone locations in 34 countries around the world.
