Our most loved season of the year is here again. While some may say that Christmas has turned into a commercial exercise, the little Aiyana Chua shows us that the real meaning of the Yuletide is well and alive.

Our most loved season of the year is here again, bringing with it our favourite sights, smells and sounds, cooler weather, feelings of nostalgia and good cheer all around. While some may say that Christmas, like many other major festivals, has become too commercialised, what with sales and promotions at every turn, Aiyana Chua proves that the real meaning of the Yuletide is well and alive.

What does Christmas mean to you?

Meeting my family, best friends and those I haven't met for a long time and celebrating Jesus' birth together.

Tell us about your most unforgettable Christmas.

It might be this one because we are going to be doing a special performance for the family with my brother Jorim and cousin Chloe.

How are you preparing for this Christmas?

I am preparing by practising for the performance.

Christmas is also a time for being thankful. What are you most thankful for?

I am thankful for Jesus dying on the cross for us.

What’s the one thing you really wish for this Christmas?

That everyone will believe in Jesus and celebrate Christmas.
