This week we look to the Lifestyle Leaders, the people whose are not only credited with bringing a certain flair to our lives, but also for raising the profile of the arts in Singapore. 

Chong Siak Ching

Chong Siak Ching is the CEO of the National Gallery Singapore and head of the Visual Arts Cluster. Chong was formerly deputy CEO of JTC Corporation, as well as President and CEO of Ascendas. She now sits on the National University of Singapore Board of Trustees and on the advisory board of Nanyang Business School.

Eric Khoo

Eric Khoo leads production houses Zhao Wei Films and Gorylah Pictures. Named one of 25 exceptional Asians for his influence on film and television by Asiaweek, Khoo is the executive producer of Asian horror flick, Ghost Child (2013) and directed Recipe (2013), a TV film about dementia, which was commissioned by the Health Promotion Board. Khoo was also appointed head of the jury at Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival 2013. 

Dick Lee 

Performer and composer Dick Lee celebrates his 40th anniversary in showbiz in 2014 with the revival of his 1997 musical Hotpants, on top of directing the National Day Parade. Lee is the brain behind beloved musicals Beauty World (1988) and Fried Rice Paradise (1991) 

Rasina Rubin

Raina Rubin is the director of Galerie Belvedere, an art gallery which houses the works of European and Asian artists. In August 2014, the gallery paid tribute to a panel of pioneers and new artists including Sarkese Said and Dick Lee with an exhibition titled Singaporean Talents: A Celebration. 

Michael Wiluan

Michael Wiluan is the President of Turi Group and CEO of Infinite Studios, one of Asia’s leading media players that has forged key partnerships with HBO and Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific. He sits on the media advisory committee of MDIS and is an executive producer of Tatsumi, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2011 and won Best Animated Feature at Sitges, Barcelona.
