This June, we celebrate summer with a holiday-inspired weekly series, speaking with stylish ladies on their vacation plans, favourite summer memories and photos, and what fashion and beauty finds they’re coveting this season. First up – the gorgeous Sabrina Ault.

Between carrying out mummy duties to her three-year-old son and hosting parties at ultra-lounge Pangaea (which she helms with husband, Michael), Ault’s days are a whirlwind of activity. We check in with the gregarious glamazon on her best summer memory, and what five items have found a permanent home in her makeup bag:

2012 has been the busiest year so far it seems.
First off, being a mother (no need for any explanation on that one), and all of the many events, press launches, gala dinners, the Audi Fashion Festival, and hosting the hottest parties every weekend at Pangaea! The most exciting project I have worked on this past week was the Starcount press launch at Pangaea. Super exciting stuff and I cannot wait to get this amazing project off the ground and rolling. Not to mention all of our plans for F1. Phew, I need a vacation just thinking about all of that!

That said, I have major plans for my summer vacation coming up. First stop: Istanbul; next, Rome; then, New York City! I cannot wait to see all of my friends and raid some of my storage. After New York, it's off to my favorite place in the world – my summer home in Martha's Vineyard. We have the cutest house that sits right in Edgartown two blocks from Main Street. After that, we’re off to Venice. This will be my third trip there but I'm so excited to take my three-year old son along to show him this very magical city. Last but not least, we will stop in Dubai for a couple of nights on our way back to Singapore.

My best summer memory so far has probably been one of the many long enchanted bike rides that I take each morning when I am in Edgartown. I first stop off to the coolest coffee joint Espresso Love and pick up a chai latte. They have fortune-telling cards by the cashier with just with one word written on it. They are always inspirational and a little magical to me; I don't know why, but it really makes my morning anticipating what word for the day I am going to get! Then, with latte in hand (I can ride one-handed – a total pro on the bike) I whisk down to Dock Street and see what the salty fisherman have pulled out of the sea for their morning's catch. Lastly, I head alongside Water Street, peering out onto the lighthouse on Lighthouse Beach. Every time I see this view there are so many memories of how beautiful life can be.

Whenever I travel, I tend to pack very last minute. I always pack the standard super short shorts and white jeans, which I find are pretty much a good uniform for summer. Also, I tend to pack a lot of silk tops because you can literally bring dozens of them with you in your suitcase. And the rest I buy while I'm on vacation. For the Vineyard, I tend to stick with a nautical preppy theme with lots of bright colors.

Thank god for Farah Khan online. To be honest, I have not really been able to shop this spring/summer at all, but I snap up Khan’s pieces by the dozen at a time, if not more. I know each piece is always going to be a stand out showstopper and fit me perfectly. And you barely need to accessorise because the dress or piece just steals the show.

The five items that never leave my makeup bag:

1) Chanel Black Waterproof Eyeliner – I cannot live without this product! It literally does not move the entire night.

2) Shiseido The Makeup Corrector Pencil
– great as a super light concealer.

3) Chanel Illusion D'Ombre eyeshadow in Lustre
– you don't even need a brush to put this cream shadow on. It's amazing!

4) Sephora’s Stippling Diffuser Poudre #113 brush
– to erase shine on the forehead for all of those event photos.

5) Shu Uemura eyelash curler
– I know I know, it's a little overkill but I seem to be addicted.

Next week, we find out what trends Dimple Aswani is head over Louboutins in love with this season.
