“Just like Sandro Botticelli’s painting, The Birth of Venus, I imagine myself ‘rising’ above the euphoria and hangover of a fabulous party from the night before by resting my vocals and having a relaxed day. I’ll also book a massage at my favourite spa—Vedure Face, Body & Nail Medispa at Wheelock Place.”

“Keep yourself hydrated by drinking water. A lot of water. Free up your schedule for the following day so that you can recoup and sleep in.”

“Lining the stomach is key. I drink two tablespoons of organic hemp oil, followed by a supplement called Liver X—one before I leave my house and one before bed if I  had too many drinks. For me, this works as a nifty hangover ‘preventer’. Oh, and I’ll treat myself to some extra crispy bacon in the morning after too.”

“Everything always seems to move in such slow motion the next day! So, before I hit the sheets, I’ll take a Panadol to avert any potential headaches. I’ll also make sure I get in some sugarcane juice with lemon. It really works!”

“I never ever drink on an empty stomach. In between my alcoholic drinks, I’ll constantly reach for water to ‘space them out’. At home, I’ll put a huge jar of water next to my bed to rehydrate my body, and take two Panadols before sleeping. The next morning, I’ll also pair coconut water with a greasy fry-up.”
