We know Valentine's Day is all about love, but if you're currently hating on all those lovey-dovey couples who can't stop pawing at each other (ew, right), this is for you.

This Valentine's day, find your perfectly peeved partner with the latest in digital dating. Testing the theory that people are much more expressive about what they don't like than what they do, tech entrepreneur Ben Alper has created Hater, an app that matches users based on their bugbears.

Whether it's "anyone who munches, slurps or rustles at the cinema," "weak tea" or "people who play their music out loud while hiking" (real-life hates from our editor-in-chief, Jakki), there's now an app that can help you find someone to share your annoyances with.

How It Works
Like Tinder, Hater users need to swipe through a series of topics, rating them from 'love' to 'hate'. Some of the most popular 'hates' currently include nuclear weapons, ads and Donald Trump, so if you've been voicing election outrage for the past three months, you're well on your way to finding your soulmate.

Like Tinder, Bumble or Coffee Meets Bagel, you still have to sift through the other haters to find out who else shares your common abhorrence for morning people. The main difference is that at least when you do match with someone, you know you have a common cause—complaining about authority, flossing and pumpkin spice lattes.

Will it actually make breaking the silence easier, or ease those first date tensions? Who knows, but if a mutual hatred of slow walkers doesn't bring you together, what will?

Download Hater on iOS today to find your perfect match.
