Take a look behind the scenes of this month's Singapore Tatler cover shoot featuring Tan Min-Li. We also recall the good times we had when we took the Audi A5 out for a spin with the Hartono brothers.

A power trip, a studio switch and a super sharp haircut were just a few of the many things that made our photo shoot with Tan Min-Li an unforgettable one. And through it all, our newly-crowned Leadership Award for Style 2014 recipient maintained absolute grace under pressure, clad in a full CH Carolina Herrera gown no less, as the crew scrambled to put plan B into action. It was really only when we told her that we’d like to lop her signature copper locks off into a bob that she tensed up a little. We were just teasing, of course! We did the second best thing: put on a hairpiece and gave it a chic, angular snip that accentuated her oriental features and framed her chiselled jawline. Eight shots later and the fashion chameleon worked the side-parted bob effortlessly. It might have been the Chopard jewels or sartorial creations from the likes of Tom Ford, Tod’s and Gucci, that inspired her, but we think it’s really that innate style of hers.

And after that long day, we just had to take a coffee break. Who better to show us where to grab great local bites than some of Singapore’s most illustrious F&B names like Shermay Lee and Beppe De Vito? We took an Audi A5 out for a spin—top down, of course—with the fun-loving Hartono brothers from the TungLok family, who took us, kopi in hand, on a food trail to their favourite street food haunts. There’s no better word for it than shiok!
