Marketing is the name of Charlotte Chen’s game. Even after leaving her position as chief marketing officer of travel app Spottly, the 33-year-old continued to dole out valuable branding strategies to bigwigs such as The Hour Glass and Dolce & Gabbana under her own digital marketing agency Empyr+Co. Not even pregnancy could slow her down. When the Hong Kong‑born, Singapore-based, mother of one joined outdoor media start-up XGD Media as managing partner last year, she debuted the company’s first interactive billboard in Hong Kong’s Lan Kwai Fong. At the end of this year, Charlotte will launch her own brand of non-toxic personal care products, Everyday, in Sydney, Australia. Despite the digital nature of her work, the multihyphenate enjoys reading and collecting print magazines.
