Beauty brand Elizabeth Arden is retaining Reese Witherspoon as its creative partner.
The Oscar-winning actress and increasingly active producer recognising Arden as "one of the first female entrepreneurs (who) paved the way for women like me."
"[She was] one of the first female entrepreneurs (who) paved the way for women like me. It's an honor to carry on her legacy and be part of such an iconic company that is committed to serving women," Witherspoon said of cosmetics company founder Elizabeth Arden,
"[I look forward to producing content that celebrates the spirit of the brand, highlighting female-centric stories that illustrate women's true life experiences which unite us all."
An Oscar-winner for her performance in Johnny Cash biopic "Walk the Line," Reese Witherspoon was widely acclaimed for 2014's "Wild," based on a true story of hiking and self-discovery.
She was also a producer on "Wild" as well as the very well received "Gone Girl," crime drama "Big Little Lies," in which she appears alongside Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley, and an upcoming live-action "Peter Pan" spin-off, "Tinker Bell."
