Despite having so many people swarming around and fussing over her at her welcome party, the new arrival of Dimple and Sameer Aswani was an absolute Angel! She looked cherubic as she lay smiling in her Moses basket decorated with lace and feathers, and set against an elaborately designed backdrop comprising flowing tulle, crystals and mini bird cages. Some 260 guests filled the entire lobby of the Hiranandani family’s Sofitel So Singapore, including the hotel’s restaurant and bar areas, where a delightful champagne brunch unfolded. Plenty of photo-taking with Baby ensued before proud grandfather Asok Hiranandani delivered a thank-you speech. The merriment continued with flowing bubbly, decadent desserts, a fun photo booth and a deejay in the house.
