Stefano Di Domenico, Tay Kok Choon and Wong Yew Wah, at the Breguet, Innovations that Wrote History exhibition

Watch aficionados recently discovered more about the legacies of two of the watchmaking world’s leading brands: Breguet, and Vacheron Constantin. We start with Breguet, who created the first wristwatch for Caroline Murat, Queen of Naples in 1812. Over 200 years later, the exhibition Breguet, Innovations that Wrote History was held at Marina Bay Sands to showcase some of its greatest innovations and seven of the brand’s most famed watches.

Moving on to Swiss watchmaker, Vacheron Constantin, the brand’s legacy was also in the spotlight, through its Voyage & Ornaments exhibition that brought 14 of its most important historic pieces to Singapore. Guests were invited to view these archival pieces which showcased Vacheron Constantin’s expertise in metiers d’art over two centuries, and the exhibition is now open to the public until September 30, 2015.
