Many of whom were willing to skip dinner for a good mid-day feast, society ladies descended upon Woobar for a special Singapore Tatler edition of W Singapore-Sentosa Cove’s glamorous high tea offering, W T Time.

Served in steel birdcages were 10 fusion reinventions of sweet and savoury bites, including a modern interpretation of the cucumber sandwich in the form of torched double brie with pickled cucumber nigiri, tea-infused fresh berries trifle shots, and salmon tikka with poppadum, alongside a row of W Crones—yes, croissant-scones.

With tipple and tea cocktails in hand, ladies whiled the day away in style.
