While it was themed to be a Miami-esque evening, there were inevitably bittersweet moments as the farewell party for US ambassador to Singapore Kirk Wagar and his wife Crystal rolled out at The Clifford Pier.  Organised by The American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham), the reception was attended by esteemed guests, including minister S Iswaran and DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta, both of who have built a friendship with the well-loved couple over the four years since they took office. As a parting gift to ambassador Wagar, AmCham presented a cheque of $30,000 to the Special Olympics Singapore in honour of him.
