Last September, Sharon and Philip Heng, Paulina Böhm and Thomas Welte, and Edipresse Media Singapore's managing director Gilbert Cheah were hosted by IWC Schaffhausen on a trip to Hong Kong’s Watches & Wonders to discover the new Portofino Midsize collection that’s sized to appeal to ladies. To round up the trip, the couples hosted a private dinner with their friends at Clifford restaurant last November. Setting the scene were enigmatic celebrity portraits by photographer Peter Lindbergh and stunning floral displays, amid watches on display. The watches were later carefully passed around for guests to admire and try on, with one timepiece going home with its blessed new owner and a few more on their way as orders were placed.
