200 art patrons, collectors, and enthusiasts came together for the inaugural Young Collectors Summer Party of the National Gallery Singapore, presented with by The Artling and Hublot. After enjoying Perrier-Jouët champagne and Kusama-inspired food, guests were treated to a private viewing of artist Yayoi Kusama’s landmark exhibition Life is the Heart of a Rainbow, with gallery docents sharing salient points on the comprehensive body of work on display. The staircase of the Courtyard - City Hall Wing was transformed for the occasion, wrapped in what is widely considered one of Yayoi Kusama's most recognisable pieces: Sex Obsession, 1992.
