Trust the Singapore Repertory Theatre Ball to unleash people's wildest imaginations. This year, it takes the form of The Lovers Ball and bore witness to guests gracing the Crystal Pavilion at Marina Bay Sands in their best costume renditions of the world's most famous and secret lovers. Honourable mentions must go to Elaine and John Kim who dressed up as Mulan and Shang, and Ginny and Richard Wiluan who posed as Ariel and Sebastian from The Little Mermaid. Entertainment was provided by singer Natalie Ong, who drew the crowd's attention with her version of a song by Dick Lee for the upcoming SRT musical, Forbidden City: Portrait of an Empress.
