In March, the Singapore Council of Women’s Organisations (SCWO) announced the seven women who were inducted into its Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame at its annual gala dinner, which was graced by SCWO patron Mary Tan. The new inductees included music doyennes Anita Sarawak and Rahimah Rahim, who later transported guests back in time as she performed a medley of her greatest hits, as well as animal rights champion Marjorie Doggett and Aisha Akbar, who were given posthumous accolades.
