It’s easily one of the biggest galas in the first half of the year, and it’s easy to see why the Singapore Red Cross Benefit Gala 2014 rallies so much support.

As patron and guest of honour president Tony Tan Keng Yam mentioned in his message, the organisation has a long history of community service in disaster relief efforts beyond our shores, and also extends its help to the vulnerable in our local community. And, on top of its good work, it sure knows how to throw a good party.

With Peggy Jeffs at the helm together with Lotus Soh, and society mavens like Serene Liok, Venus Teo, Linda Soo-Tan and Grace Yeh on the organising committee, the glitz, glamour and fun were guaranteed to match the calibre of the cause.
