Capping off the ION Orchard x Singapore Tatler Dining Signature Indulgences dinner series was an intimate meal at TWG Tea Salon & Boutique. Organised as part of the ION Orchard Culinary Creations 2017 programme, which also celebrates ION Orchard’s 8th anniversary, the last of three specially curated dinners showcased the clever ways in which TWG infuses tea into savoury dishes, as well as their ingenious tea pairings. From the welcome cocktail featuring sparkling wine with Pink Flamingo Tea, the main course of Pan Roasted Stingray infused with Gyokuro Samurai Tea to the grand finale of a delectable upside down tart of stewed apples served with Vanilla Bourbon Tea ice cream, it was an evening filled with pleasant—and delicious—surprises.
