Art collectors, both seasoned and new, took in a private preview of the second edition of Singapore Contemporary art fair in January, prior to its vernissage and before the show opened to the public. On show was a stunning array of artworks by 90 galleries from not only across Asia, but also from Europe, the US and various countries in South America. Many were impressed with the show’s two new curated sectors: Photo17 Singapore and Latin American Voices, which offered a vibrant and diverse range of works. Over 45 artists were also on hand, as was show director Douwe Cramer, to take the collectors through the works.
