Set to the theme 'A Magical Journey to Latin America', the Latin American Chamber of Commerce Gala Ball 2017 feted the ties between Singapore and Latin America. The event was graced by the ambassadors and dignitaries of Peru, Cuba, Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Chile and Mexico, who enjoyed an uplifting evening of gastronomic delights created by chefs Daniel Chavez and Mario Malvaez, and performances including a Bolero concert and Latin live band. The guests of honour that evening were hotelier Ho Kwong Ping, his wife Claire Chiang and their daughter Ho Ren Yung.
