A host of Singapore Tatler friends was among a privileged few to be the first in the world to view the first female-centric watch by Urwerk. The watchmaker duo of Martin Frei and Felix Baumgartner flew in from Switzerland for the occasion, and introduced the UR-106 Lotus, which The Hour Glass managing director Wong Mei Ling predicts will surely become collectors’ items 20 to 40 years down the road. The lucky ladies got up close and personal with the two iterations of the UR-106 over lunch at Iggy’s, and were the first to post images of the timepieces on social media.
