The phrase “in good company” had dual meaning for guests of Singapore Tatler who were invited to a special La Belle Epoque pairing dinner hosted by Perrier-Jouët at Clifford restaurant. The intimate group of 40 experienced first-hand how impeccable food, when matched with impeccable wine, can turn a dining experience from good to simply brilliant. After a warm welcome by Pernod Ricard’s marketing director Yann Soenen and Edipresse Media Singapore’s managing director Gilbert Cheah, guests savoured Perrier-Jouët champagne over a four-course meal that included delicacies such as ocean trout confit, foie gras truffle, butter-poached lobster with oyster Rockefeller caviar sauce and the grand finale of kumquat pain perdu.
