Fine art gallery iPreciation celebrated its 15th anniversary with the launch of the Reverie Rheumatology Research Fund, a long-term charity platform dedicated to raising funds for rheumatology research. Founder and managing director Helina Chan—a lupus sufferer herself—gathered the gallery’s stable of artists the likes of Milenko Prvacki, Tay Bak Chiang, Donna Ong, along with eminent Taiwanese sculptor and artist Ju Ming, to each contribute an artwork for the silent auction at the gala benefit. Guests enjoyed a dinner specially created by Les Amis’s chef Galvin Lim and Four Seasons Hotel’s chef Giovanni Speciale, paired with Pont Des Arts wines, while emcee Ivan Heng and singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono kept everyone entertained with a surprise stand-up performance and an acoustic set, respectively. To date, the Reverie Rheumatology Research Fund has raised about $565,000, with the government potentially matching the funds raised dollar-for-dollar.
