Lunar New Year always begins early with the Ikebana International Singapore Chapter 135, which held its annual luncheon in January at Mandarin Orchard Singapore. Catching the eye of its cheongsam-clad members and their guests was a floral art demonstration by floral designer Christopher Lim and his protege Shirley Cheah, and a mind-boggling act that saw two performers changing from one outfit to another within a split second. With her strong vocals, former radio deejay Jasmine Kok captivated her audience with popular Chinese oldies.
