Carmelo Pistorio and Karen Bouju

A hearty Italian dinner set in the lovingly restored heritage building, Alkaff Mansion, the Pistorio Foundation 10th Anniversary Gala felt like a family reunion as guests shared their experiences dedicated to an honourable cause: to help underprivileged children break the cycle of poverty through long-term academic scholarships, primary health care and basic nutrition. All dear friends of the foundation’s founder Pasquale Pistorio and his daughter, director Elena, guests didn’t hesitate to sign the silent auction forms or raise their hands to bid during the live auction led by Gianluca Lionetto, helping to raise over $45,000 in support of the Chiang Rai Village Project Scholarship Program.
