In an effort to raise funds for the Lions Home for the Elders, Peggy Jeffs and her organising team at the Lions Club of Singapore Chatsworth welcomed about 100 of its members and their guests to Spanish restaurant Don Quijote at Dempsey in February. Guests enjoyed a pairing of traditional Spanish cuisine and nostalgic tunes crooned by two-brother band Ernesto & Gregg, and club member May Tan. Solo flamenco performances by Flamenco Sin Fronteras dancers that followed captured everyone’s full attention with their strong movements and emotive expressions, after which guests were invited to learn the dance.
