At the recently concluded Paris Couture Week, Chopard unveiled its most precious jewellery set ever produced, the Garden of Kalahari collection. At the showcase gala, Chopard told the story of a gem of near unparalleled rarity discovered in the deeps of the Kalahari mines of Botswana in late 2015—a single rock of 342 carats and stunning clarity and colour, the Queen of Kalahari. A 55-minute documentary film, filmed by Alexis Veller, detailing the behind-the-scenes of the diamond's discovery also premiered at the gala. Celebrity artist and photographer CrazyRouge takes us inside this exclusive event.
