Following Chanel’s Paris in Rome 2015/2016 show in Cinecittà in Rome last December, creative director Karl Lagerfeld showcased the same runway in Beijing on 31 May. Known for its elaborate show setups, the French maison didn’t disappoint its Asian fans. A dream-like movie studio was constructed for guests to lounge at the cafe and enjoy the show. The star-studded event was attended by Chanel ambassadors Kristen Stewart and Zhou Xun, as well as celebrities and singers William Chan, Song Hye Kyo, Chris Lee and more. And for the first time, Chanel partnered China’s famous online platform WeChat for users to access photos and videos of the collections.
