The 8th edition of the Bone Marrow Donor Programme gala was held at The St Regis Singapore’s John Jacob Ballroom. Following a welcome speech, BMDP’s chief executive Jane Prior, president Norman Ho and patron, minister for Home Affairs and Law, K Shanmugam, took turns on the rostrum, sharing important statistics about the non-profit organisation’s work and its success in recruiting 12,000 donors into the BMDP register since 2015. After a four-course dinner accompanied by brilliant performances, the night ended on a high with an auction and raffle draw, which raised some $680,000 for the BMDP.
