When it comes to balls, our friends of Singapore Tatler definitely know how best to put these elaborate functions together. With a theme inspired by the BBC hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, the British Association of Singapore’s annual fundraising ball in May at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore revived the spirit of ballroom dancing, while in the same month, the Australian & New Zealand Association held its 51st orchid-themed annual charity ball at Marina Mandarin Singapore. Then, earlier in April, the Floral Designers Society Singapore (FDSS)’s Dream Ball was another visually stunning event, including a runway show of floral creations and dresses by local and international floral designers.
