The Singapore Yacht Show was a four-day affair in April that featured an opulent display of luxury superyachts, submarines and sports automobiles, alongside an exclusive Gala Dinner. Some 300 guests enjoyed a delectable dinner by three Michelin-starred chef Bruno Ménard and a fashion show that included David Morris and Renee L Collections before bidding on Andy Warhol artworks and other unique memorabilia to raise funds for The Red Pencil, a non-profit organisation founded by Laurence Vandenborre that uses art as a healing process. The main highlight of the night was “The Glitter Painter”—a live painting in the dark that revealed a surprise masterpiece tribute to Singapore’s late founding father Lee Kuan Yew.
