More than 400 close family and friends of the Kumalas and Tjahjanas gathered to celebrate the union of Juliana Kumala and Ryan Tjahjana in Bali. The two-day wedding celebrations in March 2015 started with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, before inviting guests to join them at a sumptuous buffet feast. Laughter filled the air the next day when the groom and his groomsmen, togged in lacy lingerie worn over their suits, arrived at the villa to fetch the bride. The couple then took to the resort’s chapel where Haryadi Kumala walked his daughter Juliana down the aisle, while mother-of-the-bride Chiang Yu Lan looked on with pride. During dinner, top Indonesian singers Shandy Sandoro, Glenn Fredly and Angel Pieters entertained to the delight of guests.
